Our Playdate

Well to start.......sorry I didn't post pics of the house done like I said I would. Actually I did go and take pics, but the spare room still wasn't completely done and the picture weren't hung on Alexis' wall. This weekend we finished the rooms so now I want to take pictures of it actually done=) But haven't gotten around to taking them, but they will be up soon.

We had a fun day yesterday. I am apart of playgroup here in Fort Bliss, and i swear it is as much for the mommies as it for the babies. This play date was called a meet and greet and it is where all the new mommies who join the group can come and meet everyone. I actually brought a new mommy, so I felt proud of myself=)
Alexis did okay. She has been really clingy to me when we do these play dates. She does great when she goes to daycare, but if Cal and I are there, she just clings to us for dear life. I hoping she'll won't always be like that. She did loosen up a little bit. When we first got there she just laid on my chest (which she will not do at home) for about 45 minutes. She then was playing with one of the other mommies for a little bit. I don't give her sweets at home, but she was digging all over M&M's and a little cupcake. No wonder she was so wild when we got home=)
Being she was being a little poop at the play date I did get some pics of her at the house with her Halloween costume on. I was amazed she kept her headband on. I never but headbands on her when she was an infant and she hates hats on her, but I managed to sneak it on her head.

Well that is all that is going on here. We are preparing for my mom to come into town this weekend. She'll be there so Cal and I can go out a coupe nights and then she'll be here to watch Alexis for me while I am at the hospital for Cal's surgery and recovery. I am so grateful she was able to come out. But she just wants to come and play with Alexis=)

Moved In

We are finally moved in!
Wow, what a crazy week. Well we had to move some stuff this weekend and I am so glad we did. We had to move all of our plants, fish tank, food, and the bathroom stuff. The movers packed up all of our stuff on Monday and then pickedit up and delivered on Tuesday. I hate living out of boxes, so by Wednesday afternoon we had completely packed all of the boxes. I will post up some pics later today. Cal even got most of the pictures hung. We had to order one picture online for above the tv. The pics we had didn't work so we found an awesome website and ordered one for the odd space. Alexis did great during the move. I was a little ticked becuase there was mix up at her daycare, I had scheduled her for the whole week to be there so we could just concentrate on moving, but for some reason our reservation was not in. Oh well, we did it and she did as good as a 15 month old could do.
Well I am going to go back to my morning coffee and after Alexis wakes up, I'll get pics of the house mostly put together and post them
